Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts and The New School for Social Research invite applications for a tenure-track or tenured position as Assistant or Associate Professor of History with a focus on the history of the United States in the 20th century. Although we are open to candidates with a wide range of interests and approaches, we are especially interested in candidates whose work has comparative or international dimensions. 


Minimum Qualifications:     We seek candidates who can help develop and guide emerging undergraduate and graduate programs in History. 


Special Instructions to Applicants:     The review of applications will begin on January 15, 2009, and we will continue reviewing applications until the position is filled. We will be conducting interviews at AHA in January.
